Powerful stuff, the AFL have done their best to sweep it under the rug but it’s not going away.

There's an old saying in politics that goes along the lines of. 'Never hold an enquiry without knowing its result in advance' and thats exactly what the AFL got. Not only did they and the accused parties muddy and the waters from day one, but the people at the centre of the allegations refused to take part in it. Like GWS the who thing was set up to fail.

It seems pretty clear that the AFL just wanted to take the heat out of the controversy in the hope that both parties would come to the table. In the end it served their purpose and timed out.

It would seem that the party without an interest in sweeping it all under the carpet said **** that. It may've served their purpose, but it did nothing at all for the aggrieved.

The players statement casts a different light on the very public PR campaign that some of the games media hacks have trotted out on behalf of Clarkson and Fagan in recent weeks.The away that the ecosystem of shills set up with the sole purpose of protecting the game and it's big names is ****ing sickening.
