We talk a lot about the speed of our side but Sydney also a good example of using an even spread of reliably skilled players. No fumbling at key moments or difficulty executing straightforward kicks. And they're using those foot skills to pick Port apart in transition. As well as accurate goalkicking. More to it all than having players who can only hang their hats on repeat sprints.

They are winning the clearances easy, mostly thanks to Sweet. He is physically imposing himself everywhere. Sweet killed Meek last week who killed English the week before.

So he is doing his job very well? That’s good.

Much prefer our ruck rarely doing his job, but he goes ok around the ground, so that must be alright then. Fantasy points are much better than the stats that matter.

Essentially conceding the ruck and making our team work twice as hard to make up for it is an interesting way to make up a decade of footy.
