Isn't doing this the opposite of virtue signalling? I woiuld have thought it's hypocrisy if anything.

They get paid well, they need to cope with it. It isn’t as if a senior coach doesn’t just land one day in the job. They have been in the system for years (as a senior assistant, player etc) and had extensive media coaching.

At least it will be more entertaining.

I’m fed up with people banging on about mental health. Yes in certain circumstances it is an issue but it is too convenient nowadays to use as an easy out. If you get paid the big bucks in any industry you have to accept the responsibility and accountability that comes with it.

I wouldn't want to see this anyway. Better them go back to the rooms and reflect also gives journos an opportunity to prepaee. It's like when they interview at half time or whatever and it's weak staged answers. Sure Kenny might say a few things but this would be very rare and most coaches are quite measured.

I mean, depending on what he is getting paid, it is a shrewd move but he really didn't show too much playing for the Powdah

Too early to put the cats to the sword but the current embezzlement story genuinely has legs and goes back years.
GFC and these two guys have been associated at a sponsorship and donor level for quite a while so it will be interesting to see the club's efforts at damage control.

Thats just insane. All we will get is quick fire cliches refusal to not answer some questions and nothing to add. They dont exist for ratings, they exist to provide quotes for next day broadcasts and newpaper columns.

its a value add for the broadcast rights. like the player and coaches cliche riddled bullshit interviews during breaks. Coaches wont lose their shit because all they will do is simply say they arent happy and cant talk about it. It will be terrible and in the end newspapers and next day broadcasts wont get the same quality after match thoughts.

It's been rumoured that Cox was promised the job post Longmire and that's why he knocked back the WCE when they approached him.

I just didn't expect it to be this soon.
