The Mighty Ducks were using "Ducks Fly Together" back in the early 90s. It's not really a unique concept.
Goldberg flew on his own and look what happened.

I think Houston had been using it for years before that.

I'm pretty sure Houston won't have stolen it from us :D
Houston adopted it for the 2017 play-offs, apparently
Crows started using theirs in the 2015 preseason.

Don't think anyone copied.

Covid was always going to be problematic, but BANG! Already.

Wonder how that effects players and coaches now with isolation rules etc.
Victoria are following the stupid national directive that you have to be in a home to be a close contact so other players won't have to isolate. Until they get it.

There shouldn’t be close contacts now.
Stay home if unwell and get tested.

Salem to have surgery on knee, but has avoided major ligament damage.

Glory be, it will be 3 month injury easily. Not sure why in hell he thought he could go through Bontempelli.

Hang on, shouldn't the AFL have the same rules across all states.

If one state, ie us, has close contact rules with iso, shouldn't that be applied across all 18 teams?

Such a ruling cost our club $50k

Yeah that was completely different.

At that time, Vic had harsher rules...

No its the VFL clause.

If a rule will benefit Victorian Clubs, then all other rules are null and voided.

Hmmmm I thought there were whispers about Port players having Covid but still nothing, wonder when they leave for Brisbane? Surely if some of them didn't rock up to the airport you'd know they weren't playing

To be fair, the Vic clubs had a few extra conditions around hubs that the AFL didn’t impose on the non Vic clubs to even it up.
