My money is on it being much more about what happened after the camp.

I bet there is nothing explicit about the actual camp. Just how the team bond fell apart after it and trusts were broken.

Very early in her commentating days she explained something (I forgot what) to BT in a way that made it clear that she had no idea he was a former player, let alone a champion, whether that upset him and he's held a grudge, who knows, but it was pretty funny. Her voice is a little grating but what she says is excellent.

She does this all the time. BT will bag out some player for not doing something, Daisy will explain why, and then BT gets all huffy.

'Can't understand why they don't play in front of Hawkins at the ruck! just giving him free access to the ball! Unforgivable! What is the coach thinking!' rant rant rant

Wonder if Eddie will bag the Blues...you know for their clearly flawed culture during his time there, the fact that they couldnt be bothered offering him 50k more a year and were fine when he walked to Adelaide...or will it just be a hit job on us? I am thinking the latter...

He’s been pretty open about how shattered he was to have to leave. I expect it’ll be reasonably honest but perhaps a bit more targeted than just at the club. Calling it a hatchet job is surely a bit of a laugh though. CM made some minor blues and our response to it blew the place apart.

And how the footy dept employees doused the fire with petrol turning a molehill into a mountain. That’s always been the most important aspect. How did a couple of minor annoyances on a preseason camp end up bringing down 2 coaches and the head of footy. That’s what is newsworthy.

We are likely to be a bottom 3 side for 3 consecutive years.

In a perfect world, we probably will be competing for North for the spoon in 2023 and 2024.

Assuming a "corona-free environment", I dont see any other team realistically with us and North, assuming a decent run for injuries.

End of the day we all know our club's incompetence cost us two of three years of a Premiership window. We should have been contending in 2018 and 2019.



Given there are few still at the club now who were in charge then, says more than any book or tabloid article.

BT was great until he joined channel 7 where he's just become a meme commentator. Similarly, I remember Dwayne Pipe not being insufferable during the channel 9 days but went downhill when he moved to Fox.
