nah..its second rate compared to what we would put out there:-

FF Rowe Frampton McAsey
HF McHenry, Himmelberg Murphy
That forward line wouldnt have taken that much to occur either.

Tex leaves, Fog is traded and bang thats the likely forward line we would generate.

On footy classified Lyon and Eddie were advocating that north get a priority pick (ie pick 1 and 2) , only sane one was Lloyd who said they need to get their off field sorted first and not just throw more picks at them.
If they deserve 1 and 2 we deserve 3 and 4.

Don’t think anyone deserves a PP. the advantage finishing near the bottom is first access to the best talent.
I agree no one deserves one but if you are going to give to one you have to give to the other. Our win/loss record is fairly similar with ours slightly better. That doesn't mean we have the better list. In saying that I would prefer no priority pick to any club and I would like us the fix our off field once and for all. That is the best way to help a club.

Clarkson was a great coach. His record in recent years is spotty at best. Is he that great without a fantastic list already in place? Can he develop players? Can he build a list? Has the game progressed beyond him? Jury on that is out imo. If he went to North it might not turn out the way people think

He doesn't. We are all university educated professionals. No time for fools at my work, mate
You sound like you are 16. If you had some more experience you may realise that uni education is not everything, nor is it a guarantee of being professional or intelligent. Particularly if you think it makes you better than others

He sounds like a shit kicker with an avid and active fantasy life

In a perfect world, this would be the way to go but there is no consistency with it now.
There are three obvious teams in rebuild but the Hawks probably haven't lost enough to receive a PP.

Picks 1 and 2 should go to Roos and Crows, then pick 3 would start from the proper order.

AFL have said the priority picks won't be at the pointy end. Should be end of 1st round.

Roos have have had plenty of early picks & there issue is a lack of experience as well as ordinary off field.

If anything they should be able to grab a number of uncontracted experienced players & compensation like FA is given to the club losing the player.

Its been 7 long years since they won a Hat trick of Premierships.

No Club should have to endure that long to win again 3 flags. Before the hat trick it was a 5 year wait.

In this interim period of course a few times they played finals as well.

Seriously if we won a flag in the 00s or maybe jagged one in 2012 or just didnt shit the be in 2017, I would have been so content for this suffering we are enduring. But to think it will be likely 30+ years till our next flag since 98 is cruel.

Instead of tampering with the draft that effects all Clubs with its rippling effect.

How about just allowing the Roos to have one single Free Agent player that they get to be outside the salary cap? That way they can go hard for one player who can leave a Club to North without any restrictions.

I think what would be interesting with Clarko coming to Brisbane would be to see who gets moved on from Brisbane. They have zero bottle when it comes to finals so who gets the flick would be who Clarko identifies as flakey.

Probably the same if he went to North, there would be some culling

Salary cap isn’t their issue.
