It’s also his 3rd season at AFL level. Imagine if Richmond gave up on Cotchin when he had soft tissue injuries early in his career? Obviously not saying Pedlar will be Cotchin, but not all players get a good run early.
Yes, but I also don’t think you would want Laird, Wines and Berry in the same midfield, too much of the same. Wines is also still Port’s best mid and frees up the likes of Rozee and Butters. Good mentor for JHF too.
No, I will enjoy listening to him, his football knowledge is up with the best, and I believe in the media he will be one of the few Vic media personalities that will favour the Crows, With all the vitriol he has received from Crows Supporters over the years he still liked his time at the Crows, and talks about us fondly even with the camp issues he was one of the few that temper his comments.
I get it, that's why I'm saying there's time on our side, though. Their development is well ahead of ours. Can't make the hard and fast judgment that Port will absolutely be better than us for the next decade without seeing how our guys develop

You know I find it funny how when Trigger13 commented about how good the Port midfield is some call him a Port supporter, At first my anti-Port hackles went up but he was not wrong in his assessment, The Problem I have is After I read the above statement, I paid more attention to the support the Port Midfield comments and notice that notable Crows BF supporters were praising the Port Midfielders and slamming the Crows midfield, saying the same things as Trigger did some even going further.
