I think there are particular situations that call for you to bake someone as a coach. Not saying you should be abusive all the time. We will agree to disagree.

Was hardly an out, I was just saying that it's a commonly used excuse for players, and if that's what gives them immunity, it doesn't really fly for coaches.
Abuse is a very broad word. Different degrees. Swearing at someone to get a point across would be on the lower end and not particularly worth getting upset over I'd have thought.

Yes and no. If you want to make a commitment to stamping out that sort of behaviour at lower levels, you need to be seen doing it at a higher level. That's how the example is set.
I dont agree with that, you can have different rules at lower levels than top level. Ban all movies and TV shows then because of there influence. It's Helen Lovejoy 2.0
I don't really get what the movies and TV line is about? Also we do have a staggered classification system for TV/Movies/Games so to moderate what is shown to whom - so there are differing rules on what is considered acceptable for childrens or general entertainment vs teens, adults etc.
I'm equating it to the notion than anything anyone sees must be ok at lower levels then.
