Yeah the Essendon edge seems to just boil down to hitting blokes whilst vaguely going for the ball. Wonder if Travis Cloke (Essendon Runner) will cop a ban or just a fine. Can’t have the blokes in pink getting involved in melees

He doesn't follow up and chase the ball.
His body language when he's beaten isnt good and his head drops and he slinks away from the contest.
He doesn't body the defender and try to halve the contest.

I've been pretty big on getting him and I'm sure there's a really talented player there but he's certainly not the finished product.
