Adelaide advertiser: front page, 2x 2 page spreads over pages 4-7 articles referencing writing by 5 different reporters, vox pops, bullet points of bias against the crows.

That's legitimately one of the most concerning things I've seen on a football field since....probably since Gaff, maybe Staker? Deadset.

I'd be surprised if he plays another game at AFL level before being delisted

If Gaff got 8 weeks, then surely Sonsie should be looking at similar


It's also why I'm happy to argue that Rioli should have got longer than just 1 week - I don't care how "soft" that appeared, it was an off the ball incident where he took a swing at an opponent & got them high

They need to start cracking down hard on those "minor" incidents, take a stance that any swing which connects high won't be tolerated, regardless if the opponent plays on or is out of the match - don't give the option for players to test how far they can go before a serious suspension is given

I thought he was a bright spot in an otherwise dark future for Richmond? They don't seem like the sort of club where this would factor into delisting discussions at any rate.

Not much said on the tigers board , other than the 5+ weeks being a Richmond tax

20yrs old and contracted at Richmond through to 2025 - how tolerant of that type of action will they be, or will they be trying to get him off their books sooner than later
