What has happened to that guy!?!

Looked to be ready to take all before him a few years back. Since then, he just seems to have plateaued.

Ideally, he and Curnow have never really worked out a way to dovetail together. He just gets stuck out of games far too often for my liking.
His best with Curnow was when he would push up the field, take the marks up the wing and use his field kicking.

His set shots are just too wildly inconsistent. But when the Blues looked like world beaters the last few years they keep Curnow deep as he is a reliable mark/set shot especially under pressure, and McKay pushes up between HF/Wing, runs his man around, uses his height and strength in contests and he is a smart ball user when it comes to getting the ball in quick to other forwards and where to put the ball.

It feels like - not that I see a heap of Carlton - Curnow is better when the ball hits the ground, whereas McKay is about marking and making a contest.

Left the ground

Got him high

Easy suspension
Absolutely.

What is most laughable about this video snippet is the lack of emotion in BT's voice about the incident as he reflects on it. Sounds like he's just about going the 'nothing to see here' route.

Whereas if it had been Danger bumping anyone in anything like this fashion, the 'Oh boy, Wowee!' meter would have been off the charts. His bias is just so obvious and so risible as to be entirely ridiculous.

Yep they're the new Port.

I'm still laughing.
Up to 2007 Port were that club that when they got in, they won.
We ended that football club, and they've been a shell of their former selves ever since.

They suffered complete and utter mental disintegration as an organisation.

Were they? I recall them having multiple minor premierships and not even making grand finals... They had their break through in '04, capitulated again in '07 and were stuck in the wilderness for several years until they resumed a similar theme from the early 00s. Good top 4 record for little finals reward. Not even a grand final.

The Fox Footy preview discussed how the Bombers switched the ball a lot in the preseason game against us. When they showed clips of it, you could see the Cats' players were just jogging across the ground, barely putting any effort into their defensive pressure. I had to laugh.
