Jordan Dawson requested a trade to South Australia. Pretty big loss for the Swans, he's a young star.

Swans must have known he was leaving which allowed them to give Parker a better deal. Hopefully he goes to the Crows.

Really sucks for the Swans that. Hopefully they get somewhat decent compensation. Players like Dawson make a massive difference to a side. Everyone expects that your first round draft picks will become solid first 22 players, but when you nab one, two or more from the later rounds of the draft & they develop into solid players that can be the difference in such a close competition. Swans got him at pick 56 in the 2015 draft, and have spent all this time developing him.

I'll be very surprised if Melbourne don't win the flag. Maybe may's injury changes things but think they should be able to cover against the power and dogs.

Don't want to put expectations of Rayner but if he can have even half the impact of Tracca when running through the midfield will be enormous for us. What a seriously awesome player he has become in the last two years.

Geelong are even worse than us in the finals. At least we stuck with Melbourne for most of the game.
