For the anyone interested, there is a Twenty20 game at Eltham Lower Park on Tue 10th Nov 09 starting at 5pm sharp.
Lower Eltham CC will be representing the DVCA and Heidelberg will be representing the HDCA, this is for the Cricket Victoria Kookaburra T20 Cup.
I am unsure of any NFL players at Heidelberg (I am sure there is a few) but Lower Eltham will be represented by Justin Whitcher (form from Monty) Conlon Gunn (G'boro) Mick Still (form Eltham now Essendon) Callum Still and Matt Tucker (Eltham).
Bar will be open and beer will be flowing with BBQ cooking a treat. With the weather forecast of 32 degrees for Tue, if you have nothing to do, drop down.

Good to see so many Mernda players at the Lower yesterday. Everythings back on track, New coach some very handy pick ups and a couple more to come. Bring on 2010

Lower Plenty started last night. Between 45-50 in attendance, with quite a few new faces and some old one`s returning.
You will be ok. you will walk quickly for 10 min on the 23rd Nov then we wount see you till March.

We had 43 training which is good 2 c for the first session
yeh trained at ak last nite but will be alternated between lower eltham and ak lines

Doubt it would not be many since they have not paid any players for the last 6 rounds.

can you confirm that Tsingasis has knocked back good coin from a club outside the NFL only because he is heading OS next year with his red headed girlfriend???. As i hear it the club in question doesnt realise that he hasnt played for years and they are willing to pay top dollar.

Poss not many will walk, fair call ossie on how we got there , lots of other things contributed though, should hold most players but div 3 will make it hard to attract the players needed to rebuild.
We will regain some players due to change of coaches and committee, however time will tell . no disrespect intended to past coaches and committee must be said.
