Turn it up.

Just watched again, what the hell was Ollie thinking? The leader from 3 off the fence, you could've driven a bus through there.

he's thinking that's the second favourite starting to box me in behind a 100:1 pop. not worth 20 but that's what they do at this time of the year.

didn't cost ken's dream at all. still would have won the race regardless even if he was boxed in IMO given he only started looking around once he hit the front.

My point is there appeared to be a plethora of room inside

Damien Oliver being interview on RSN this morning, talking about the imports at Werribee. Thinks that Articus, Wicklow Brave and Vadamos are the internationals that are doing the best trackwork at the moment.

Sub standard fields for Caulfield Cup day even the Cup looks a non vintage year. Only a couple of races worth wagering on.

i like the CC, it's copping a bad wrap this year (not from you specifically but i've seen this one criticised a bit this week). 2x horses from the judmonte who weren't beaten out of sight and actually fit in the handicap conditions, Godolphins best placed horse for a long time and two high class Australian mares down in the weights both of whom seem to be going better than mongolian khan last year, Lucia Valentina before that and royal descent before that. a complete unknown in articus..... a good caulfield cup IMO, granted i wouldn't mind if it cut off at about 14-16 horses but the top level is still there and could be a quality cup once they're off the bit at the 600 like normal.

Notice that Lankan Rupee is back after a year off (wasn't he retired??) carrying 61kg.
In the same race is Hellbent, been waiting for him after his last run, currently $2.10 so there is the anchor for Caulfield quaddy

Anyone reckon it's worth loading up on Jameka place at 2.50 on William Hill? Max bet of $200 looks appealing

it's not really huge value but it's a reasonable bet if you already like it.

Laughable the money for Sacred Master on betfair. Couldn't win if it started now

best horse from the metrop but it surprises me people are looking there for the winner. probably couldn't have won given how it was run. ran same splits as Hauraki and only 1-2L worse than English and faster than her late. still looks overrated on that fact.
