Callan at the Yarraville Club last night, so it looks like he's more than happy to be in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
I think he'd enjoy that. Nice and quietI hear upper Uganda is nice at this time of year.
Or could just be the fact he is on holidays and back in Yarraville with family and friends.
Remember yesterday? Those glorious moments after the Pickering interview? Ah, to go back.
Ahh dam Boyd to dogs pretty much not going to happen now ?? has anything further happened today from yesterday ?
The fact that there were no posts for over 40 minutes until you asked this question provides your answer.Ahh dam Boyd to dogs pretty much not going to happen now ?? has anything further happened today from yesterday ?
A lot here think Griff and 6 for Boyd and 19 is fair.....but looks like thats off the table nowWithout flaming me merely for my club choice, what do you believe is an equitable trade for Tom Boyd?
The only insight I've got is that of the people who choose to hop over to the GWS boards, so I just wanted to see what the general mindset was here and reading through 67 pages is a bit much.
I'll get the ball rolling, and from our side of the fence - a straight swap for Griffen just doesn't work, but it continues to be brought up, is this due to the fact that you don't rate Boyd highly, or that you believe Griffen still has a lot to offer whichever club he plays at?
Id happily swap Griff and 6, other might want a late first back or a player.Without flaming me merely for my club choice, what do you believe is an equitable trade for Tom Boyd?

you know what i'd do it too. i was gonna say id do it but with steak knives coming back (pick 19 steak knives) but im not gonna sit here and pass on Boyd over steak knivesId happily swap Griff and 6, other might want a late first back or a player.

We could get 19 for Jones and Tutt and 27 but Carlton may not be willing to entertain this, Jones could walk to the PSD. st Kilda more likely to psd him now Stanley is gone though.A lot here think Griff and 6 for Boyd and 19 is fair.....but looks like thats off the table now

Griffen and pick 6 I would be happy with.Without flaming me merely for my club choice, what do you believe is an equitable trade for Tom Boyd?

Realistically, I couldn't see us giving up Stewart, because he would be almost essential if we were to lose Boyd - especially playing without Patton for this season. For me, middle ground would probably be:
GWS give: Boyd
WB give: Griffen + pick 25
If that is unpalatable for GWS (which it might be as you may have no use for pick 25), it would need to be something like:
GWS give: Boyd + Stewart + something?
WB give: Griffen + pick 6
Isn't there a rumour that Jones is going to re-sign now that Macca has gone?
TRADE him just not to GWS
They are basically saying to is we can take your players when they contracted but how dare you try to take ours.
Folding I ten now pretty much allows any team to come in and pinch who they want and then their manager can say "you let Griffen leave why not my man?"
Thy have been told emphatically that he wants out and we have given them a fair deal and they still say f$vk you
So we must not deal with them under any circumstances now unless Boyd is inclided
