Wadda you know, Hawks get a few injuries, get a bit of pressure on them, get harassed and start making mistakes. Just like every other team. Did Hawthorn actually lose because listening to Darcy, Richo and Taylor they've been braver, more composed and more 'persist against the odds' than any team in the history of the game tonight.

How much fun would it be to be a Port supporter living in Adelaide. They march to the ground, have pre game fireworks and Adelaide Oval.

Especially the way they're travelling - a lot of fun I'd say.
They seem to have got it together this season.
Good luck to them - I never did mind Port. It's the Crows that get up my nose.

I want to see them go the way of Collingwood in 2011. Reigning premiers, a perception that they're invincible, cruisy draw, lots of easy wins with teams just bending over for them...
Then the pressure of finals footy hits them like a ton of bricks and they run into a team that is just better prepared for it than they are.

Hodge2Wingard.
It's official: hodge is beyond reproach from the 7 team. That was a terrible turnover but they did not even mention it.

Port were very good but hawks were minus half their stars. Nonetheless they are mortal. Their era is facing the sunset.

Nah, think this will be more Brisbane 2003, the last hurrah with half the team on pain killers but just too good. Then the slide began.

Just herd more about richmonds season discussed and people backing Dimma to stay coach, I am really surprised how the media or anyone hasn't put the torch to him like the pressure Ratten received?

I mean both coaching careers are taking a very similar path but Dimma seems to have a hall pass from judgement, but when it came to Ratts he was hung to dry for all to see?

Has anyone else picked up on this?

Btw I'm not saying Dimma deserves hate but just surprised in the difference approach the media has taken compared to Ratten:confused:

According to the main board what let's Menzel down is his inability to kick.

Part of the issue is they've given him that ludicrous extension on his contract. If they sack and pay him out now, after they've stuck their hands out to their supporters for donations, there will be riots at Punt Rd.

The win this week will give them top 4 belief again, even though it was over GWS. You'll notice that Riewoldt is a favourite son once more. I actually enjoy when this happens to them, because they'll have to come crashing down again in a week or two.

I don't even know where the main board is and still get through my days ok.
