Old EPL tv theme

I realise this is perhaps pointless thread but I've been having no success looking for a clip of the old Intro for EPL Highlights Show from back in the day when the ABC used to show the 50 minute package on a Monday night.....it stared with a football spinning then a rotating stadium... it was a very basic intro... but a great one.

Anyone know where I would have some luck?

i created a similar thread this year comparing various league songs (champs league vs prem league) and found that others liked the older prem league songs better. in spite of this on one could find the song when it counted.

Yeah, I reckon I know of the one. Tremendous song.

Then they changed to that brown coloured intro with the lion and the more traditional sort of music. Huge let down.

Goddammit, I thought I had an old tape of 94 League Cup Final Man U v Villa (the one where Bosnich made gr8 save). It was one of the last years the intro I'm thinking of was used. Seems I no longer have it. The "spinning stadium" that I so poorly described was a modest computer generated image. THe intro started with a football spinning then being engulfed by the stadium before the announcer chimed in with what was coming up in that weeks show

Seems a lost cause really that it's not on Youtube.... it was used for years
