Just because a player went in the first round doesn’t mean he’s going to be elite. There’s plenty of failures. Time will tell, I don’t know anything about him but if he was good enough Gold Coast wouldn’t be trading him.
Stephens from syd was pick 5. He’s been average at best and now traded to north.
That’s my point.
Reckon he shows a bit for a young kid. 14 games and 8.6 goals in 2 years, playing as balanced inside mid role. Good athletic profile. Perhaps not the tidiest kick which might be the knock ..was after some genuine intel that might set out why they don’t rate him.
