If Fagan was to be believed we are going over the soft cap. Now a first time coach won't do that, and Campo leaving is sizable salary.

I'd say we are getting in more coaches.

Still think Pyke was better than any of these options.

If only we got rid of Burton, Campo and the ringleader sook players before he left instead of after. Dollar short and a day late as usual. Gonna cost us a lot of dollars and days now.

Nah. Pyke just sat there with the team in cruise control. Had no idea how to steer the ship once it got in trouble.

Pyke was overridden by FD head and senior assistant.
Campo was running midfield and strategy, did you see him running down to the bench?
cushy spot he had.
Pyke ran down as it was in Campo cruise control.

Even this highly crapulent year he managed to pull our head out of our arse and get a 7-2 run on including beating the two grand finalists when we were at the trough of our powers as a club.

One of the best win loss records of any AFL coach. But the man is only human.

When you've got senior players having perpetual sook fights with incompetent football managers and rusted on assistants there is only so long you can swim against the tide.

Agree dude. Theres prolly still players sooking over the camp.

Trust in redhorse and the 5G dude lol.

I have a better strike rate than redhorse, trust nothing....

Even the media can't get a scoop on what is happening so yep trust sweet FA.

I say the club earns respect for the way they have ran a process and leaked nothing. I FEEL it's Nicks and a head of leadership to be in the one announcement.

Nicks = senior
Hocking = head of leadership
Gooden = retained
Mattner = retained
Cotten = hired (dark horse)

Hart to go in a few weeks

I'll be disappointed if its not yze but I'll give nicks a chance.

I think we are trying to take two from this process (Main and Assistant) but in 2019 we were right on the cap so any kind of payout was going to push us over.

Feel like it makes more sense for an announcement tomorrow. Just doesnt seem right announcing your coach on the last day of trading given our situation.

Welcome Nicks........and oh goodbye Jacobs, Jenkins, Keath and Greenwood.

Rowe said today the Pyke payout was around 300K, Campo re-signed during the season and would get around 250K and Burton was on staff so he was unsure of his package
Campo during season? Really didn’t hear that.
