If Fagan was to be believed we are going over the soft cap. Now a first time coach won't do that, and Campo leaving is sizable salary.

I'd say we are getting in more coaches.

We're going over, because we re-contracted all of the people we're terminating.

Incompetent ****heads.

Campo re-signed during the season? I highly doubt that. He did still have one year left on his contract.

You're correct, he did not want to leave and took the largest payout of the three.

More issue's with Scott Camporeale than you think and the club had a rip the bandaid off decision with risk off ramifications hence a healthy payout.

Fagan has already said that we will be over the cap for the next 2 years.

Apart from the Pyke, Campo, & Burton departures and the addition of the Leadership and Culture position which all bring additional costs, there will be a fair shuffle in assistant coaches too.

i don't think there will be a lot of extra payouts there although Ch7 said tonight that Godden would be retained (contracted for 2020). Not sure where he will be used yet.

Hart is out of contract at Oct 31- that's him gone. Mattner is out of contract too I think but whether he survives or not will be up to the new coach.

The new coach will be given the right to bring in 3 assistant coaches of his own choice and these will probably be of a better quality and at a higher cost than those we had this year.

Given that we were already tight on the cap before any of the above we will blow it to the shizenhousen for the next 2 years. In a big way next year and somewhat less the year after.

But like everything in life you have to pay for your sins. It will be money well spent.

First post that hits the nail on the head.

I back that Mattner will survive
