I'm pretty sure it relates to the comment from Rob Chapman about how Brett Burton was appointed Head of Football.

He said something along the lines that the club was scouring the country looking for a Head of Football and supposedly the AFL said that it was a waste of time looking when they already had the ideal candidate already for working for them (Burton) and the club should just give the job to him.

Seen him speak at a port function at around round 13 last year, said no club should be playing their best football at this point. They lost 5/6 of their final games

Sando was probably a worse coach overall, but it's still better than continuing with a situation that had become terminal

We spoke informally to as many as 12-15 candidates and shortlisted somewhere betweeen 4-6

The 1st round put alot if emphasis on being well prepared in terms of footy program, game style, list evaluation, leadership and game analyst

Unless there is 2 candidates they cant split I dint think this is a multi round process, definitely not 4 2nd riund interviews
