Nothing new really but Sam Edmund on SEN earlier reported that the panel did final interviews with all of the remaining contenders yesterday.

Said Nicks, Yze and Kingsley all interviewed. Nicks is the popular pick across the industry but “strike rates of picking senior coaches are about 5%”. (Refreshingly honest for a journo)

He didn’t really clarify whether Kingsley was still a chance (after reports he’s ruled himself out) but confirmed Yze is very much a live chance.

There seems to be a lot of activity, talk and sightings around Yze, but little if any about other contenders.
