Reef has so much potential he just needs to stop being played as a KPF.
Play him as a smaller player even though he’s tall
Either as midfielder or half back even to begin with

I rkn Sidey will make a great professional sub. Versatile and someone who can make a lot of impact in a short amount of time.

Also saves consistently playing young players as sub that absolutely kills their development.

Pendles, Sidey and Howe should all be off the bench every game. If Pies are keen on Reef, put him at the defensive side and give him games there every second week. With Houston, Moore, Maynard, Quaynor as the core defenders, Pies can afford to blood youngins

DFAs are for senior list spots - You have to wait until either the rookie draft, or more likely, the SSP pre-season period to add anyone to the rookie list.

That's why Leppitsch said it would only be one. We're not signing both Tomlinson and Membrey to senior list spots.

Yes the Richmond of old's recruiting style seemed to be more generated via a dart board than anything else - I'm sure they're hoping for their own sake that it's improved since then.

Bytel and Kreuger are not big surprises. Kreuger has the potential, but injuries have dogged him for years.

Thought Eyre might get another chance, but it wasn't to be.

I've got us at 33 senior listed players now, and 5 rookies. If we add Membrey as a DFA, that would bring us up to 34, which means to have three list spots at the draft, we'd only need to delist and re-rookie one, and then we'd get to the minimum of 36 on the senior list with three draft picks.

Reef would seem like the obvious candidate for delisting and rookie listing.

I'm not surprised about Bytel - he was getting games when we should have been playing Allan.
As for the other two - we simply can't afford to be carrying injury prone players unless they are best 23.
Titch and Jordy are two we did without for big chunks of the season, but they are obviously important to us.
