In primary schools one of the popular projects is self propelled car races. Kids make cars propelled by things like rubber bands, springs, balloons, etc. He's a balloon car. Starts well but then runs out of air and needs to be blown up to start again. The rubber band cars usually win.

I agree. We should keep a spot open on the rookie list . It will allow us to address any injuries we may pick up , either in the ssp or msd.

I'm not following. Given how late the picks are, it's highly unlikely we'll be picking up future stars. Why risk clogging up the list for one year more than is necessary by using the last pick in the National Draft, rather than the Rookie Draft?

Any other draft I'd agree, but this one is known for its depth, so probably could find some good players.
But if you take 2 picks, you'd have to upgrade a rookie
