Have a think why.Why would u keep Johnson over Reef? Utterly ridiculous
I tried to tell him but old kap needs the stress reliefJohnson is contracted.
Poor form and bad for the salary cap.So? delist him and offer Reef a contract.
Are people forgetting how terribly AJ played this year? He is the worst over 25 player in the AFL
Whilst Membrey plays tall, he is more a utility than he is a key forward - @188cm, he's significantly shorter than ReefDefinitely membrey
No other key forward key position depth
So we have the cap room to carry AJs contract do we?So? delist him and offer Reef a contract.

I reckon we all agree with you but it just isn't going to happenSo? delist him and offer Reef a contract.

Can anyone provide a sensible explanation as to why the Saints are getting rid of Membrey?

Pay 2 contracts for 1 fringe player? So? delist him and offer Reef a contract.

Oh so you’re guessing he’s on minimum salary.Well he should be on minimum salary so be pretty concerning if we couldn't. U can always manipulate things to put some money into different years
You think contracts are unbreakable in the AFL? Have you been thinking?
Membrey has sticky hands.Whilst Membrey plays tall, he is more a utility than he is a key forward - @188cm, he's significantly shorter than Reef
You cannot delist a contracted player, he has 1 more year left. So? delist him and offer Reef a contract.

He's a lead-up high 3rd tall forward. Mobile but strong overhead. Plays much bigger than ReefWhilst Membrey plays tall, he is more a utility than he is a key forward - @188cm, he's significantly shorter than Reef
Imagine going all King Kong only to assume the prone position 24hrs later. How embarrassing for Koch.
In terms of culture killers, it's up there with approaching players and asking them to give up their number to an incoming player.I think we should and will retain Reef regardless but you don’t delist contracted players unless they need to be sacked for disciplinary reasons. It undermines the whole culture at the club doing stuff like that.

And now we have Houston I am loving itAndy & Gazey still whining about the Houston trade
Reef is a genuinely a good point in being excited.Pies need to turn Reef into Murphy V2.0
Darcy Moore was a Full Forward, but he was average at best, so he was moved as KPD and AA at it.
Chris Tarrant was also a good Full Forward, but when he lost a bit of athleticism, he struggled and moved at the back. As a Full Back, he was one of the better ones in the league at it.
Reef's physicals are ideal, 6'4, lean wiry but athletic built. Has quickness but short in tank. Can jump and throw himself in the air.
And the biggest positive trait is that... he's 21 just turning 22
Moore was comparable as a young KPF to Curnow, Josh Kennedy, McKay, Tex Walker and Tom Hawkins...Pies need to turn Reef into Murphy V2.0

With McStay and Checkers, a third tall option like Membrey is a no brainer. Works hard up and down the ground, has great hands and knows how to find space. Best of all, he kicks goals
The way Leppa was talking would be surprising if they are not in list next yearWe should be keeping Charlie Dean I would have thought
Probably Eyre too
