Not sure. Same 23 players you would generally play with a fit list. So you’re gonna have to leave someone else out

That’s because Coates league has congestion rules and he was able to run and jump at the ball. Still no idea why they do that, because having the under 18’s forwards having to deal with the same issues that AFL players have would make it far easier to judge which key talls are actually going to be worth selecting.

Darcy is a 3rd generation bulldog, there’s more chance of Nick leaving than there is him moving from the kennel. Having said that he’ll get monster offers coming his way regardless.

As a nimble runner capable of playing up field, Membrey shouldn’t interrupt Collingwood’s attacking style but his fit alongside Mihocek and McStay is questionable.

Amid a disappointing season, the Magpies’ small forwards delivered again.

No team was better at scoring when the ball got inside 50 than Collingwood, who scored on 53.5 per cent of entries.

But the Magpies were only middling at turning inside-50s into marks, doing so on 23.6 per cent of entires, ranking seventh in the league.
Adding an extra tall player could lead to more marks but more likely, it would slow down an attack that was deadly at ground level.

You could claim not "true" depending how you want to define that. But a flanker type like Lukosius is plainly wrong.

Yep, there’s probably a good argument that adding Membrey in to the forward mix could allow a few of our other forwards the opportunity to rotate a bit further up the ground. WHE, Jamie and Beau are the first that come to mind. Probably Schultz too, I think he rotated through the middle a little bit at Freo.

I love what we've done this off season. I think this year we lost our transition as our flankers dropped off and a couple played different roles and we ended up with some battlers playing wings.

One flanker out, but 2 upgrades in. Then as well as the depth Membrey gives our forward line, he means whe can stay on a wing more often and not play CHF and we can even rotate some of lightning small forwards on the wing if we want.

I think our dangerous ball movement will be back big time.

He's not much of an athlete, so far from a star, but I think McStay is the most satisfying clunker of the footy since Carey.

30-35 goals each from Checkers, McStay, Membrey, Elliott and Schultz should happen.
We just need the grunt to get it in the forward50.
All those listed would need a lock down defender, which won't happen. One of them could be a decoys, plus add in Hill, DC, Jordy and Lippa and it's a potent forward line.
