has apple fanbois been mentioned yet?

the local fanboi just decided to get the apple watch at lunch, and decided to unbox it at my desk. the overriding temptation was to throw it at the ****ing window and hope it shatters

My old man tried me on fishing but it never took. I very much enjoy sitting round doing nothing, talking shit, and drinking beer, but it was the actually catching a fish bit that took the fun out of it for me. I generally try to disassociate myself from the initial stage of the food chain.

How can people like celery?
It is ******* disgusting.

Fishing...boring

Radio
My car isn't even tuned in to a station
It's either a CD or silence.

You'd eat celerly without even knowing it. It constitutes the base of many dishes.

Fishing is boring.

Agreed. Radio can GAGF. It's a CD, USB, or nothing for me.

I don't get why those Apple stores are always packed with people playing with tablets. Surely everybody knows how they work by now.

Ive used a tablet once in my life (staying with a friend, she lent it to me to use), that is it. Do not want one.

I know right? They've been around for thousands of years. I'm still looking for a Gen 1 model like the two that Moses bought somewhere up a mountain in the middle of a desert.

Apple stores really are everywhere.

Those people who line or even camp outside an Apple store for the launch of the latest iphone/whatever that is mostly the same as the previous model and are willing to pay over $1000 are the worst.

This is something that has been playing on my mind a lot lately. The ethics of fishing.

I love fishing.

However, everytime I go, I am becoming more and more consumed by the thought that I am having fun by putting another living thing through pain.

Fishing is only a pain for me because it involved shit like packing, travel, and then leaving.

I'm sure it would be more appealing if it was only 10 minutes away, but being at least an hour from any fishing spots is shit and not worth it

Agree.

Not sure how anyone can get so into it.

Same way any one can get so into any sort of sport, Why do people get so into Football? Why do people get so into Soccer?

I personally watch Bathurst because it's one of the most entertaining races in the world. Very competitive, very tough, extremely difficult and I admire the skill the drivers have to be able through their cars around a track so incredibly tight and crazy. It's also pretty much the Grand Final of Australian Motorsport, the thing all racers want to win.

I'm not meaning this as a jab to AFL, but when you look at how many players on AFL lists, roughly 800 or so, and then compare to the 54 drivers entered for the Bathurst 1000, it's arguably a more exclusive sport, where it's much harder to get to the top.

Not really. If you factor in the amount of people who play aussie rules competitively vs motor car racing, you may get a different story.

I love fishing too but it makes me angry when ****wits don't dispatch of the fish properly i.e just letting it flap around in a bucket till it dies

To get a true understanding of the sport you need to experience it yourself imo. I've done one of those zip around Sandown in a v8 things and it was so much fun, you don't even have to go that far to enjoy it even simple go-karting is fun.
