I’m actually surprised he’s got another go. Played very well in VFL but didn’t look up to AFL anymore. Pre footy injury he was destined to be a star. Interesting to see how he goes. Very happy for him.

With this years draft not being rated as it gets deeper (we also traded our 2017 1st round pick to get an extra 2016 pick last year) and also the loss of players with White, Krakour etc its worth us taking a punt on some Free Agents who at worse will help the development of players in our reserves side. We have a few spots on the list to fill and cant draft 5-6 players with the late picks we have.

Glad he's been given a lifeline. Horrific run with injury and being the face of the club during that period would curtail any career. Genuinely wish him well at Port.

Well said he deserves a decent run at after the shambles he's been through.

I guess he’s worth a punt given the draft quality. Just think he’s cooked at AFL level. No doubt his leadership will be beneficial. He’ll no doubt have an impact on the SANFL players. If he didn’t get picked up I was hoping he’d stay on at our VFL club.

You would know more about his body at the moment than any of the port supporters, but i assumed he was a long shot to get a game in the AFL again, no doubt will be a good leader for the sanfl team.

Hope he gets and stays fit. Heap of talent. Such a pity about the injuries.

Good luck top him.
He’s been relatively injury free and fit the last two years. Unfortunately he was never overly quick and is now even slower. Poor bloke has been ruined with that foot injury.

Yeah. More that he should be a good player, and it's been ruined by injury.

Port putting a lot of eggs in the recycled player basket for 2018. Will probably go one of two ways, either it'll push them into top 4 contention or it'll flop and the difference will be minimal. Rockliff and Motlop are fairly safe bets, the others are a gamble but to be fair, it's a gamble worth taking considering they've given up next to nothing for a bunch of players with AFL level experience.

Love these kinds of predictions. Could be good, could be bad. Fascinating stuff.
