Carse going at 1.27 an over and they’ve been calling it a spinners wicket…
Could have been similar to back when we couldn't hit Twatto off the squareWell his run rate doesn’t preclude that from being the case. If it’s slow, it may simply be the case that the quicks aren’t coming onto the bat with enough pace to get the ball away particularly if they’re not throwing the ball up much to try and swing it; I noticed Stokes, who they said WAS getting swing, went for four an over from his relatively brief spell suggesting he was bowling quite full so probably giving them a chance to drive (I didn’t watch much, just followed the live scoring)
Kane Williamson has 30 Test wickets and 73 International wickets but I've never seen him bowl either (because he chucks it).I don't think I have ever seen Williamson bowl.
Smith hasn't bowled in ages, even though he was brought into the Australian side as a spinner.
And whenever Kohli bowl, it's almost done for the fun of it
Murali bowled a handful of balls in his career…leg breaks after Hair called him for throwingKane Williamson has 30 Test wickets and 73 International wickets but I've never seen him bowl either (because he chucks it).

I wonder if the decision from Pakistan to play three frontline spinners plus Salman is the right one. Feel like one extra pace bowler may have been handy.
It’s the same pitch as last time. It’ll break down quicker now. Reckon last innings will be shortThe English pace bowlers have done more damage and looked more dangerous than their spinners have since the first session.
Pakistan might regret going so spin heavy for this test, they only have one pace bowler in Aamer Jamal in their bowling line up.
Surely they were expecting this based on his results at the Redbacks
i think this is a rough post. vaughn is clearly a w***er but did you see the kimber video on the same subject? its a fairly common view that pakistan make poor decisions at management level...Vaughan giving it the biggen in the press about how stupid Pakistan are for dropping Babar and Shaheen:
Well f*king stop watching England only cricket and watch something beyond what mainstream once-a-year cricket tells you you ****** and check what they’ve been doing.
In his last 10 tests Afridi has 33 wickets at 37 and yes he’s played a few of them on some bad pitches but he’s had some shitty opposition to fill his boots against as well, and he’s the attack leader getting first crack with a brand new ball each time.
Babar has averaged 20 in 19 innings without a 50.
WTF are they supposed to do?

sure but it's got nothing to do with the earlier argument that vaughan 'just watches england'. a lot of commenters had though the same thing wrt pakistan dropping their best batsman of the last 10 years. There were lots of people who said the same thing but he was definitely one of the more prominent and using words like ‘insane’ or something similar are just complete nonsense when something HAD to be done.
Now one of the other inclusions has 4-70 and England are 6-down
