Reports of her quitting her job in 2015 seem to have slowed down

New role for her this year, concentrating of producing some future Father Son options for West Coast in 18 years time.

Very important job.

So would you say hill is clearly the better of the 2? And is he more likely to have a good afl career?

I see Hill as ahead of Cameron but the gap has narrowed significantly. I can see us taking both and that would be ok.

Here are 3 scenarios
A) O’Halloran, Valente, Cameron
B) Hill, Valente, Cameron
C) Hill, Valente, pick 61 because of early Cameron bid unmatched

I would go for A slightly over B and well ahead of C. A and B are both good outcomes. And OK to vary the mids in A we take ie Smith Kennerley etc

Unfortunately I’ve heard Gaff sticks to the outside.

Inside game has much improved and now getting a lot more touches in close and tight consequently has improved on the spread and delivery all part of his concentration on more hard ball gets releasing more of his potential.

Just planting some seeds for thought.

A few things

One thing that has confused me is people saying we need another KPD. I really want to back Brander in for that job myself. From what I saw of him this year, he looks much more suited to that defensive role then a forward.

Another thing though is do we really have a list that required players to be picked based on position? Surely we can go into the draft and just pick the best available.

Even though he said he wants to move to Victoria, if no one wants him id pick Jonathon Marsh up as a rookie draft pick also. Clearly AFL level

I seem to have missed the part of the progressive new 2010s where Gaff can produce father son options on his own.

It's more the part where a 20 something woman can't bonk and hold down a job at the same time.

Bonus points for no mention of father daughter options.

The part about her other career options is getting much more discussion on the BigTeacher forum page. But it is clearly surprising and filled with patriarchal bullshit that a West Coast Eagles forum would have a post made in jest about her potential contribution to the West Coast Eagles.

Is it possible you're just being a wee bit sensitive to the tiniest amount of criticism here?

Is it possible that you've over-reacted to a joke or comment made without the intent that you perceive?
Relax mate - no-ones advocating for what you think they are.

Here I was thinking I cracked a joke in response to Monocle's joke? Did the winky emote not turn up in some people's browsers or something?

Anyway...here's me raising my hands in a non threatening manner and backing away slowly.

Of course that's possible. Perhaps I'm too eager in embracing the increased level of sensitivity required in male gender roles these days. But either way, probably best we stop clogging up this thread with our petty squabbles.

Hey, remember that time we won the 2018 Premiership? Let's hug it out and reminisce about that glorious day!!!!

A very large part of our success has been based on our marking prowess.Brander,Allen and Ryan all terrific marks. If youve got ball in hand the opposition doesn't.So when looking at potential draftees put good marking at the top of your wishlist.

I see Valente as a pretty safe bet.

Not vanilla but similar to Duggan when drsfted that you are fairly certain he will be good enough to succeed at the top level.

Hill is a bit more higher risk high reward type. He could be elite and then he could be just ok due to attitude and application.

Smith IMO is in the same boat as Hill.

So with our picks we should have a bet each way.

O'Halloran and Valente are my dream draft duo for us.

But one of those plus a Smith or Hill would still be a great duo.

Nah 100kgs i think . Looks liķe a biggish unit

Looks a good option on the cheap.
Plays a bit like Dean Cox in that he floats forward to kick goals and reads the play well to drop back and take intercept marks in defence. Also a couple of nice pieces of ground work and obviously a good ruckman- 205cm helps.
Well worth looking at with a pick in the 70s or rookie draft.

Marsh is one of the worst kicks of the footy ive seen . Clanger king !

The 1950's called. They want their patriarchal bullshit back ;)

Go back even further to the time of " Jus Primus Noctis ", when wealth and Title had its own set of responsibilities and it was indeed Good to Be The King. ;)
