2nds Peel Thunder 2024 Season

He has been named on a wing before but as far as I'm aware he hasnt actually played on a wing so far this season. I could be wrong though.
They're tried it for about a quarter and a half against Subi @ Leederville in a game I was at earlier in the season. They gave up pretty quick because he was hopeless at it / we were getting beat. They haven't tried again that I've seen.

Fair enough. I didn't notice that when watching the game but I was watching online. .

Is there somewhere where the Peel side is published? The WAFL and Peel sites are rubbish (apologies if anyone on here works on them).
Nothing wrong with the WAFL one.

AFL emergencies to be added (except Worner who is travelling)

Odin Jones not named.

Watched first half. Without seeing a replay it looked like Brodie , Emmett and Murphy best on. Stanley ok. Reidy winning ruck but we aren't doing much with his dominance. Wagner trying but getting caught htb. Erasmus doing a lot of grunt work but hasn't been quite as dominant. Good understanding with Brodie who has spent a bit of time on the wing Simpson ok but not doing much with his possessions. Wilson dangerous.

In hindsight Wilson has been better than Walters 😢

Different level. But I wonder if we would have considered Wilson in the mid-season draft if Walters had of done his hammy earlier. I doubt it to be honest. Seem to have quarter of an eye in the present and the rest in the near future.

he could have been a good pick up in the mid season draft. Like we keep saying, there's a big leap from WAFL to AFL. He must be loving his footy.

Made the right choice by going to see Peel rather the watching the crap effort against the Doggies
For me with a view to promotion to the Seniors, >>>>
Will Brodie easy BOG and is running on top of the ground with good leg speed , best game i have seen him play in two years , spent some time on the wing for centre bounces Give him a game next week even as Sub, needs reward for continued effort
Davies was excellent as both a defender and interceptor, even showed some attacking flare through the centre corridor and continues to grow in confidence , definate keeper (gone pass Draper ?)
Wagner much better second half , run and disposal were good
Ras , good attack on the ball as usual but no leg speed to break free once he wins it , kicking today was fine but maybe try in the back line as is a straight ahead player ( we need to challenge him and try different positions)
Reidy, no real opposition and gives an honest effort but really just a WAFL player
Cooper , Milky, Murphy & Delean where all dissapointing
Tabs, needs to retire at end of year cant run and kicking is still hit or miss (not sure why Voss didnt play , wasnt listed as injured during the week
Hughes , solid and defending well but WAFL is his level going forward

Of the non Freo players young Michael Sellwood continues to impress, could be a good rookie pick up for us

Not the same position.
Wilson isn’t a small forward- he would’ve been battling with Sturt, Frederick and Banfield

Voss was travelling emergency, I’m sure?

Brodie realistically should be in for JOM, if Fremantle are a serious club. But it seems to have the team set in stone for the year bar injuries. Form hardly gets rewarded

I want Brodie in but he's not really a replacement for JOM. He would play the same role as Fyfe.
