Does that have anything to do with him kicking for your life? If you honestly think he is the safest shot of the modern era let alone the past you're kidding yourself...

Jnr is a great shot at goal. However to kick for your life I would not have Stevie in any circumstance. I still remember a game when even though you had little wind and he was IN FRONT he still did his "snap" kick. Thank you but pass on him.

Was it stevie that attempted the snap from 20m out and got smothered?

Couldn't kick for the premiership last year..

Luckily he would be kicking for my life in 2013 then. He clearly learned a lot from the 2012 GF, 11 goals in 3 finals this year.

No he's not, overrated same as Ottens was, they all used to rave about his goal kicking whenever he was lining up for a set shot.

Of course that isn't taking into account the difficulty level of the shot or kicks that missed altogether.

In his prime I would have had Chapman easily from the set shot either straight in front out beyond the 50m arc or out to around the 45 degree mark, he looked like he had some of that power back late in the season. From anything more difficult then Johnson easily.

Of course that's only from a Geelong perspective.

If anyone didn't answer it earlier (I've just started reading the thread) Mayne went at 75.5% for the season and 84.78% last season. 80% even over the last two seasons.

76.19 over the two seasons.
