And your fetish to see him dropped isn't gonna happen, especially under ken

He hasn't played a single game of sanfl since 2019 and his form last year wasn't enough to warrant a week in the twos.

Correct, Correct

Correct, Incorrect

I want Todd Marshall dropped!*

Across four games he is our equal most impactful forward with 6 goals, 1 goal assist*. Dropping him makes us less likely to win and more likely Hinkley gets sacked.

**Motlop is equal first on 5 goals, 2 goal assists. Houston, Georgiadis & Pepper equal are next on 4 goals, 2 goal assists. Willem Drew next with 2 & 2.

Yes, he probably could have been dropped after round 2 and that certainly wouldn't have been unfair. But in the two games since he has done absolutely nothing to further that discussion. Round three was one of his best games, if not his best and was more than competitive in the shit show that was round 4 and competed really well when thrown into the ruck.

May have finished with a goal if not for the soft reversal against Butters, although would have taken an incredible kick from where he would have been kicking from.

As posted in other threads, the ball was targeted at him inside 50 zero times in our last game. Zero. Zip. Nada. His haters will still blame him rather than the coaches.

There’s shared blame. It’s also a reflection of the fact he isn’t very good.

Let me get this straight.

Off of a career best game the coaches put sam Mayes at ff instead and the mids and forwards don't kick it to him once.

Holy **** the end of this bloke sitting in the coaches box cannot come sooner.

I have actually quite liked that Hinkley has put it on Todd/asked him to lead the forward line and be the second ruck. It’s a demand to stand up and I think Todd has busted his guts to do it. It’s probably what Todd needed. It would be nice if Todd had some support in the form of another tall forward but I would keep demanding Todd step up and be the main man until Dixon is back.
You shouldn't have to lead the forward line and be second ruck. The forward line leader should not have to worry about other roles and positions in other areas of the ground.

You wouldn't make the backline leader second ruck so don't do it to a forward ffs. It shows the disregard the club has for forwards.

Not me. I said before the game ai wanted him to work hard and to go when it was his turn.

He did both IMO so I won't be bagging him

Yup agreed.

Hayes and Lycett should be playing with Todd pinch hitting. Ruck work can be a way to get a forward into the game sometimes and might be a way to get Todd to have some mongrel. But agree, it kills your structure if he is there full time. Same as when we through Dixon in there

Hawkins seems to handle it alright. I think Dixon does OK too. I see the point that you want your big forwards running around one on one one at a stoppage, although to a degree if they are a decent ruck its a way to keep the forwards influential.

Dixon is a very good ruckman and should definitely be our 2nd ruck once fit.

Todd is fine as a pinchhitting 3rd ruck who does some forwardline rucking but it's a big ask for him to be 2nd ruck. Hayes should have been playing in the mean time.

******* lol

No one said that

He plays like a small. His strengths are that he is an extra mid with the body of a mobile ruckman

Plenty said he had no forward craft.

I agree with your description of his style, however he can mark overhead too, unlike young mate Marshall.

Youve posted this after he got a handball receive after luckily not giving a high tackle away

You know that right

He is also sitting on a whopping 0 contested marks

You are worse than Schizenhouse or whatever his name is

Yes let’s overlook the brilliant snapped goal demonstrating very good forward craft.
