The Brute was Bute tonight. As per Swamp's tweet only the 4th player in V/AFL history to make his debut on his birthday against the reigning premier. And on a Friday Night at home and in front of a national audience. can't get much of a bigger stage in a minor round game to debut.

Showed some of his teammates how to play with energy early on when we were flat. Did some important chase downs in the last quarter.

Talks really well

Started slowly, looked overly keen and had a few bad moments.

Improved immensely as it went on.

You guys have got a ripper!! Loved his game last night...few nervous moments early on, but the fact he got better as the game went on shows how good he will be...seems to have a great head on his shoulders.

the best thing about his game was his controlled aggression and attack of both the ball and opposition...reminds me of a young Luke hodge...enjoy the ride with him, he will bring you guys a lot of joy.

Good luck for the rest of the season..I think you guys are primed..early season injuries a good test of your depth, but rather have the injuries now than in September.

I've seen enough. He should get games for the rest of the season. He is astute enough to learn from his mistakes, talented enough not to repeat them and is the perfect package in controlled aggression.

I Don't know whether it is good or bad he looks like an 80's bogan who should be wearing his favourite flannie with a package of cigarettes tucked under his shoulder while slugging down a cold beer but it is all Port Adelaide as is his style of play.

The fact that Hinkley disapproves of it makes me like it even more.

Cult figure, charisma (compelling attractiveness) or whatever he's got he's definitely got it. The roar when he bested Lynch in the last qtr was goosebump stuff.

What you notice watching him live is how quick he is. When he was picked I gulped, thinking sheesh he's going to be out of his depth. Martin will take him to the cleaners.

pfft

Just think he is a typical country kid and simply takes it in his stride and is very humble as a result. Reminds me of the great man himself from the river land. IMHO he will blossom quickly.

Closest player we have recruited yet, to replace Michael Wilson. A way to go, but showing plenty of good signs.
