Plantar fasciatis is easy to remedy. They just get an angle grinder to remove the bone spur, then it's a few weeks rehab for the incision to heal and the tendow to settle after rubbing against the spur.Does this mean he is gonna disappear for the season again?

I had severe plantar fasciitis 10 years ago, probably made worse by standing in lead all day. Tried various conservative treatments over a six month period (NSAIDs, strapping, exercises, orthotics) with nothing helping. The radiologist who reviewed my MRI and US recommended either an autologous blood injection or the more sophisticated option of PRP injection. I tried the former and within two days, what had been debilitating daily symptoms disappeared and so far haven’t resurfaced. An N=1 anecdotal experience, but too dramatic an improvement to suggest placebo/sham effect. The injection took all of 10 min under local and US guidance using 2-3 mL of my own blood into the affected part of the foot.Plantar fasciatis is easy to remedy. Should be ok to go again by mid-March.
Ive been dealing with PF for two years now. I've had physio etc but nothing helps. Maybe ill suggest this injection. I've heard it can be insanely painfulI had severe plantar fasciitis 10 years ago, probably made worse by standing in lead all day. Yeah, mine wasnt. Done with local. The pain was supposed to get worse before improving but I had a ridiculously quick response. PRP is supposed to be “better” but a simple autologous blood injection was enough in my case.Ive been dealing with PF for two years now. I've had physio etc but nothing helps.
