Knock out a Port player, get a written commendation and Foodland and Wallis Cinema vouchers.

Port player bumps a player, hand over your cash and be thankful we haven't rubbed you out for a month.

At this point, unless we sack Hinkley I would genuinely lose respect for Hayes if he stays at the club this year. He's been publicly embarrassed by the coaches on multiple occasions to the point that it must be deliberate. This club doesn't deserve him.

Bit of a public whack doesn't always hurt, can motivate/shock the player to do better.

I think if they were planning on trading him then they wouldn't publically criticise him. Probably be the opposite actually.

That would be the sensible thing, but our history with Wingard/Howard/Ladhams suggests the exact opposite. This club is more interested with protecting its image than getting results these days.

Will cost him $125.00 - and a reprimand - if he takes the rap...

Port Adelaide’s Dante Visentini has been offered a $125 fine and reprimand with an early guilty plea for engaging in rough conduct with Norwood’s Mitch Cotter at Alberton on Sunday.
Dante Visentini (Port) – Rough Conduct (High Bump)
Conduct:
Careless
Contact: High
Impact: Low
Base Sanction: 1 match
Early Guilty Plea: $125 fine and reprimand
If you look at the Norwood players, I think they took issue more with his second action of diving with his full body weight on top of him, waiting for the referee's three count...

We got burton and Duursma for wingard so that was a fantastic trade plus wingard turned into a complete flog. Georgiadis come from the Howard pick and Sinn, who I think will be a gun, essentially come from the ladhams trade.

No. No. No.

We traded our 2020 1st Rd pick with Brisbane + 29+ 71 for their picks 16 + 52 +55. We were lining up for Jones to be our Rd 1 matching bid pick in 2020 so that's why we did the trade with Brisbane.

16 became 18 after the Freo bid for Liam Henry at 9 and GWS bid for Tom Green at 10. So 16 became 18 and that's the pick we used on Georgiades.

Then it gets more complicated.

So pick 18 that we got for Ryder+Howard became pick 20. Late in day 1 we swapped it for 22+55 with Carlton.

22 was the start of Rd 2 and day 2 trades. (we used 55 as part of the matching bid for Jackson Mead)

At start of Day 2 we swapped 22+ F4 (GWS pick) for 23 + F2 (Col pick) with Brisbane as they wanted Deven Robinson who we had some interest in, but Brisbane really wanted him. We took Williams with 23 and the F2 (Col pick) was used the next year to help us get Lachie Jones.

So Ryder+Howard got us Williams in 2019, some pts to bid on Mead in 2019, and helped us get pts for Jones in 2020. but there is more.

The full trade was Ryder+Howard+10+F4 Port for 12+18+F3 StK

StK F3 started at 57 in 2020 and after the Ugle Hagan bid eliminated picks became 52 and Port's 59 became 54 and these two picks were traded with Sydney for 40, which then became 39 and used to get Jones.

The F2 Collingwood pick we picked up from swapping original pick from Stk to get first 20 from Carlton and then 23 from Brisbane for Williams started at pick 35 before the Ugle Hagan eliminations, then became 34, which we traded out for 38 with Adelaide (pts for Jones) and also got Hawks F4 in 2021, which we ended up using to get Hugh Jackson.

So Ryder+Howard trade got us
2019 Dylan Williams
2019 some pts for Jackson Mead
2020 most of the pts for Lachie Jones
2021 Hugh Jackson

Literally all of that is wrong

Wingard and future 3rd for Burton, 15 (Duursma), 35 (ontraded), and a future 4th was the Wingard trade. (Without knowing the context of your comment)

I completely phucked it up.

No worries. Some of these are tricky and sometime traded picks are recorded before compo picks are awarded, so they get recorded say as pick 33, but become 36 before the draft once compo picks are awarded, and then you have to allow for add in and eliminated picks when bids are made, so 36 could become 32, or it might become 39 depending on where the eliminated picks are relative to that traded in pick.

The Ladhams/Sinn trade/pick, the full story wont be complete until we see what happens with the future picks traded for with West Coast for Sinn and what we do with the 2022 F3 pick we got from sydney for Ladhams.

He's got a long way to go to be as good as Scott Lycett.

Release Dante ‘The Answer’ Visentini. Maybe not this week but has to be given a few games this season.

The Answer (Dante) just needs some afl experience and a focused preseason to prepare for number 1 ruck duties and our mids will look even better.
