Given the cap space we have and the fact we still dumped Pittard, wouldnt pay overs for Polec and have some big contracts about to expire (Boak, Ryder and Gray) I’d say we certainly have someone lined up for a big offer.

I have a feeling, Port were thinking Wingard was going to nominate the Bulldogs and our climb up the draft ladder to have a crack at Rankine would have been possible.

Polec is currently a far better player than burton on what they’ve produced, the hope would be that at 22 he will go past Polec.
