When Chad did his hammy against North the club considered pulling him out of football for a month and giving him a mini pre-season, such was the below par condition he returned in. He then proceeded to pull his finger out.

If this is a rocket from the club and it works, Chad would come back for 2019 in the sort of condition that should allow him to play the season of his life.

I’m not sure his improvement was from pulling his finger out or moving out of a disfunctioning forward line into the middle - perhaps a bit of both.

What I do remember is him publicly not hiding from his poor form early.

Chad looked noticeably happier and more motivated playing in what he has publicly stated is his preferred position.

Good organisations don't blame their employees for not being motivated, they look at what is failing within their own systems that is causing that employee to be unmotivated.

I don't get that when a player who cannot get games in one of the worst performing teams of the season and is subsequently delisted, we all go hmmm maybe he'd be ok in our team??? I really don't understand, maybe I'm wrong. Is there a precedent where a delisted player has come to us and succeeded.

josh Mahoney!
adam kingsley!

One whisper I'm hearing: Brisbane want to trade Pick 4 to St. Kilda for Jack Steven, the Saints then have picks 3 and 4, they want to draft both King twins, Max and Ben

Well there goes my plan to try trade into their pick to use on Rankine (doubt the PAFC will try anyway)..... Maybe the Suns then with their compo for Lynch.

Freeman is a different kettle of fish, injuries have killed his career, now he's finally played a couple of games and gets dumped. He'd be worth a look if we can manage him like Polec
