The really bad one would be Burton walking back into the role. That would be a Hinkley classic.

I thought Burton's last few games of the year were demonstrably better than what we saw of him earlier in the year.

He also kicked a couple of crucial goals in both the Geelong and Sydney final to sort of keep us in touch

Maybe that lengthy dropping was the kick up the ass he needed.

I thought it was reported he was plying through injury and once fit he was alright to finish the year?
