Covvy - I think Birchall is a solid contributor but he won't be in the top 7 scoring backs. Do you want to take a player that may need an upgrade come seasons end? I doubt he can average over 70-75.

Birchall's last 3 years = 74.6, 80.8 and 79.5, yet you doubt he can average over "70-75" ?

Eski + Masten/Ziebell + Westhoff vs Kennelly + Ball + Dangerfield.

Which combo is better.

The 2nd option IMO due to Ball being a potential keeper (6th mid). Kennelly and Danger will do their job as value risers and will be easy to upgrade.

Enright + Boyd + Pavlich

Or

Fisher/Scotland + Ablett + Franklin

Which combo is better?

Harbrow is a decent option as he is coming into his 4th year, the dogs are on the up and they seem to look for him to run and carry the ball out of defence meaning a lot of kicks and marks from switching the play. Question marks if he can push to an 80+ average though.

I think I'd take Harbrow as he should average similar to last year in the low 70's but has more potential to lift his scoring.

I was looking at Harbrow for a while too, but there's talk that he might be one of the players that has signed a "secret deal" with the GC. Not sure if this makes any difference, but if these players happen to get "outed" during the season, it could affect their selection and/or scoring.

Just something to keep in mind.

Probably been answered before, but I'm struggling with my 5th premium keeper back.

One of the Shaw's or Fisher?

I'd take Heath Shaw.

Carrazzo v S.Fisher?

Dangerfield v Ballantyne?

Carlton midfield is pretty choc full Im not sure if Carrazzo will be in there.

If Carrazzo plays in the midfield then he is a good pickup, but I want to see where he is playing first. When Judd comes back, or maybe even before then he might go back to that shutdown role where he plays on one of the opposition's small forwards and doesn't get many points.

Pickle.

Ellis Vs Harbrow

Also, I was under the impression that with the depletion of the Swans forward line of late, that ROK would be playing more in the forward line and less time in the midfield?

cheers

whos the best forward for under 287k beside hall and ziebell

I'd look at going a lot cheaper and get one of the 220-230K forwards such as Mayne, Danger, Warren or Campbell. They all represent great value IMO. Then use the extra cash to upgrade elsewhere.

J Brown and Sam Fisher or Ryan Hargrave and Daniel Gianseracusa

J Brown and Sam Fisher or Ryan Hargrave and Daniel Gianseracusa

Hard choice. I'd go with Brown and Fisher.

Brown will play more CHF this year and his score will increase due to more marks and kicks and Fisher will probably increase also from last year.

Not saying Hargrave and Gia won't just i think Brown and Fisher will average more.

Selwood v Mitchell v Boyd v Pendlebury v Sewell. Who are the best 2 players here?http://afl.virtualsports.com.au/?p=researchmini&pid=172

I'd go with Pendlebury and Mitchell.

Hurley or Hooker?

I was looking closely at Hurley but after the 3 weeks ban put in place for him and him being seemingly "out of favour" it has turned me off. Hooker I don't really think is a great dream team option. Awkwardly priced at 281k you would expect that he would have to be a 7th back. Personally I can't see him averaging high enough to compliment that.

Jolly + Gray
OR
Kreuzer + Gia

Leaning towards the first at the moment as I'm not sold on Kreuzer.
