mitchell and sheppard

i think waters will take some time to find his feet again and in supercoach scoring - good disposal is needed

does anyone like the look of paul medhurst or mark williams
robert murphy is on the radar too
they all seem like they could bounce back and do well, but not overly sure

I'd have Bobby Murphy streets ahead of Williams and Medhurst in terms of upside. Have neither in my side. The risk is there for all 3, but if i was to take the gamble it'd be on a fit Murphy who's enjoyed his first uninterrupted pre season in a long time

cheers inwhiterooms. i always second guess picking small forward types even those that can come up the ground a bit. can go missing pretty easy

both injury prone but Higgins for sure.

maxwell or fisher??

Heaps of Fisher's in the league, but going to assume you mean S.Fisher and say go with him.

Guys bit stuck on these two combos..?

N.DalSanto + J.Hunt + M.Hurley

vs

B.Dalziell + M.Pavlich + T.Kenelly

??

B.Dalziell + M.Pavlich + T.Kenelly

Hurley still has a court case ahead of him and could possibly be suspended for an undetermined amount of time. Can't see it being anything too lengthy, but a few weeks is enough to avoid him.

Hi all,

quick one:

Dal Santo vs Gibbs vs J. Selwood
(Ablett in team)

Flip a coin, think Dal would be the least seleted of the three i.e. unique choice, but he is the most expensive... id go gibbs cheaper and has the potential to be a 120 + ppg by years end.

second tier forward
T.Walker (adl) vs Vespremi (syd) vs Pokinghorn (Bris)

go Selwood for consistency and he is a keeper...... and Walker as a developing forward who seems reasonable value......

mark mcveigh vs s. burgoyne

maybe better to get on mcveigh now (fit), and burgoyne (working on fitness) later in the year as fitness improves?????

Brad Sheppard or Beau Waters anybody haha

I c ya gettin no response there ol m8 so I'll help ya out!!

Depending on how Waters is going injury wise........however from all reports he is over his injury worries and has been travelling alright this pre-season and should b right for the 2nd round of the NAB Cup, should they make it thru!! So basically I would go Waters if he performs in the pre-season games as he is experienced and showed b4 he was injured that he is a capable footballer who can score alrite and based on his price is worth the risk!!

Beau Waters definately if fit. Sheppard may get a few games but I don't think he will play many.

Chris Masten or Callan Ward ???

Worsfold said Masten dominated the intra club match and that he has overcome his groin problems. Masten will be a ball magnet machine this year.

masto is finally completely injury free and ready to play. 2nd in beep and time trial (very fit) and is kicking freely this year with the op now behind him. he is an accumulator and will be on fire from the get go this year i think. he and the coaching staff are of the opinion he has been held back in years past by injury and is now more than ready to be a major cog in our midfield

I'd go NDS. He is one of the best kicks in the league, and rarely comes up with a bad score. He can start of slow, but he is well worth the price IMO.

Mine question is

Gilbee and Ziebell vs Tippet and Houli

Has to be Gilbee and Ziebell. You know what you are getting with Gilbee...worst case scenario will average 80 points, and Ziebell should figure heavily in North's plans. Tippett will come in for more attention this year and Houli is a selection question mark.

No questions from me...my team is perfect.

oh yeah fair enough. do you think he will start the season on the field though? i had him last year at first and he has a lot of potential i think as he can play up the ground a bit higher and get a fair bit of it as well as kick goals
