USA Policy positions of Donald Trump; let's see how many he achieves

You say that like his suitability/qualifications for the role was a factor in his appointment.

Hunter Biden rolling over in his crack den lol
Hunter Biden had serious credentials, and the sort of resume you often see in people appointed to boards.

To my shame, this is a piece of right wing propaganda I completely bought until I saw someone go through his actual backstory and achievements.

The right constantly spun Hunter as a crackhead loser, because this then let them spin the fact he was on company boards as de facto evidence of Biden family corruption.

Reality is, he graduated near the top of the class from America's most prestigious law school, had a distinguished and successful career in a major law firm, and from there, multiple successful stints on company boards, because companies like having a lawyer or 2 on their boards.

His issues with drugs, after a series of family tragedies, came after this.

Hunter was very smart, very highly educated and had a very successful career in law, and a number of very prominent roles on company boards.

While I bought the bullshit to my shame, there is enough info out there that I figured out what was going on. If you didn't, you may need to recheck the calibration of your bullshit meter, I think it's off.

Irony is not lost when you see how the right have appointed people into the 2016 administration (Jared, Ivanka, etc).

How did the Democrats lose the working class, and how do they get them back?

The white working class cares more about being allowed to be racist and Jesus shit than affordable healthcare and progressive taxation. The most cooked demographic in the industrialised world.

Too late. They had their chance with Bernie Sanders. They're effed.
Yes, they need to talk about working class issues. It's why they say they can "relate" to Trump because he talks about stupid things.

I was watching the new Jerry Springer doco last night on Netflix. I used to love the show and everybody told me it was fake, I was stupid for watching it etc. But it wasn't what was on the stage. It was the crowd turning up to make fun of the complete weirdos on stage. It reminded me of Twitter. Everyone turns up just to sling crap at each other, they love it and know it's not useful. Everyone's a weirdo. So it's good to make fun of other people exposing their weirdness on stage and international TV.

Rated through the roof compared to when Jerry was doing a serious talk show.

I mean they weren't getting any of that under the corporate democrats anyway, but at least they pretended like they cared about the average American.

People have figured out that the new "progressive" parties full of career politicians are out for themselves more than they're going to work for working people. The US Dems, Aus Labor and UK Labour are not progressive parties.

People are figuring this out and abandoning them. The end result in the UK and Australia is going to be more frequent minority Governments. The US system doesn't really allow for this, so they're stuffed perpetually to continuing oligarchy.

Dems gave them the affordable healthcare act, and the only reason that's not better is Republicans. They had to compromise on a lot of shit to get it through.

All the Trump supporters are eerily quiet now that Trump is threatening everyone and everything when they all told us he was just out to get better deals for the US as an isolationist.

Now he's talking about invading Greenland and Panama as a distraction from some other awful crap he's going to do to the working class in the USA.
And this but of course MAGA are pro Putin because the GOP told them to be, ignorant as they are.

Yep, I for one was wrong about drumph, his previous rhetoric gave the impression he is/was an isolationist.

Am I convinced of his current opposing rhetoric? No, now I'm just not convinced about anything he says at all.

We'll all soon know.

One thing is for sure, IF he does attempt these nigh on impossible annexations, that'll just alienate the rest of the liberal alliance (the west).

Already there's growing sentiment among the rest of the west about the US and its lack of 'influence' on Israel, China and Russia, and that's before he even takes office.

Going by his current and previous rhetoric he'll be far worse than any previous US administration, including his previous term.

Of course he will be worse, it was plain as day to anyone who looked into it.

Leaves Australian conservatives in an awkward situation having railed against social media for over a decade now.
The pollies will just forget everything they have said before and morph into this new reality.
