Here is what you actually did:

You provided a statement and in that statement you predetermined that abolish would mean the removal of all police, forever. And then you asked the poster if he excepted that without providing the context of your meaning behind abolish.

And now you are claiming he supports something that you have gaslit with your narrative.
Save the mental gymnastics for someone who cares, shizo. ;)

Yeah that's what I thought you do when someone calls you on your bullshit.

I support raising the bar to become a copper in the US. But that's not what BLM is demanding.

Yeah you dont want to listen so fair enough.

Yes, try telling that to all the people reading your bizarre ramblings about who posted what and what they truly meant. If only people bothered to read the contents of a poster who is clearly deranged.

You lot have no factual case. When the movement turns on civilians - and it will - use of military will be justified and the lot of you will be turned into dust.

I look forward to this happening never.

Because there will be a police force, eventually, with a better internal culture and more respect because of it.

Why do we keep coming back to this whole "you want to remove the police to fix it!"

When that is not what we and it's actually not even what BLM want.
Because your brains programming requires you to keep subverting people in a constant loop. It doesn't matter if the leaders of the movement are calling for it, it doesn't matter if the mayor of Minneapolis gets booed and abused by a large BLM crowd for saying he doesn't support abolishing the police, it doesn't matter if you have council workers there saying the law should be run by social workers. You will always attempt to subvert, because it's how you've been programmed.

Not that I expect you to watch this or anything, being conditioned and all, but that's reality.

You literally trapped someone into agreeing to something that you set the terms for without explaining to him.

Take your original post. Change the word abolish to, say, reestablish or mould the police or something that is less, in your words, final than abolish.

Would you still be in your same opinion?

I accept that fact you flat out refuse to accept abolish doesnt mean remove forever. I get it, you dont want to change your meaning of a word that doesnt mean that.

But just think on it for a second.

Meh, they can do their worst.

Hell, I google myself sometimes and I dont even come up, I'm a nobody in internet terms.

In fact if someone angry at me went to the lengths to do that just because I disagree with them then it sort of proves my point.

I dunno. Our mate has gotten pretty unhinged over the last few hours.

Good luck with your surgery.

Thanks, currently waiting for them to come and see me. Been here...6 hours so far in 12/10 pain and so far nothing helps it. Also, I'm immune to morphine, yay me!

Almost like some people don't understand the nuance of the gesture. Bugger off if it offends you that much, nobody will miss you.

Personally think it is rather worthless cause and PR exercise more than anything, especially in the context of problems facing indigenous communities. If you were to break down all the deaths between 1990 and today there may be a couple of questionable ones but the majority would have either been suicide or natural causes, not police brutality like what happened with George Floyd in the states. I saw one indigenous kids picture saying justice for him when he run away from the cops and in the process of trying to escape empaled himself on a fence and died, are we too blame the cops for the kids stupidity?

Did he run because he committed a crime or because he feared the police I wonder.

Majority of left-wing intellectuals are anti-competition and anti-sport, the result of negative experiences due to lack of aptitude. You don't even know what you're supporting.

I enjoy sport. Hey you know what Roman's did for sport? Gladiator matches! Gee they were fun let's start them up again.

Oh and by the way I'm a centrist if you forced me to identify my political stance.

So why are the players kneeling? I hear it’s about the 432 deaths in custody but those deaths in custody are at a lower percentage that non-aboriginal deaths in custody. So can deaths in custody be because of racism?
I think most people could get behind ending racism but the claims made are disingenuous to say the least. Not only are aboriginal people in custody less likely to die, the 432 deaths is over the past 30 years, include deaths from natural causes, suicide, drugs, injuries not from police, deaths occurring when trying to escape police etc. So what is the actual number caused by police?

Take the poor woman that died in police custody because her boyfriend kicked the absolute shit out of her. Did the police fail in their care of duty? Absolutely. Do I understand why the cops didn’t believe her claims? You bet I do. That doesn’t absolve the police in their part but there seems to be no blame on the boyfriend that essentially beat her to death. She would be alive if the cops believed her, that’s on them. She would also be alive if her boyfriend hadn‘t of been such a POS.

The fact is that aboriginal people might be more likely to die in custody when you consider the population only. There being more likelihood of aboriginals being in custody is not anyone but their own and their communities fault.

In the USA black people are more likely to experience police brutality in a police interaction but white people are more likely to be killed. Black people are more likely to be shot by black cops, so how is that racism?

There is video of a white person dying in the US the exact same way. So did he die because of racism? Or do America have a policing problem? Are the police so trigger happy because they know anyone can be armed?
Racism does and can play a part but it’s not the entire problem and IMO is unlikely to be the major part of the problem.
