You forgot the horizontal one on the Port Adelaide guernsey.
it's not like we are wearing white&black every week - just for special occasions.
I do hope Collingwood crash burnt the whole of this season & next.
>> Port Adelaide Power aren't the Port Adelaide Magpies.
Then why are they allowed to draft using fathers-sons rule ..?
The Answer is no.
It will always be no, because as the AFL has stated it’s Collingwoods decision and Collingwoods decision is and always will be no, so stop carrying on like a pack of b1tches and accept it.
They're an insecure club who don't know what their identity is.I reckon their teal jumper looks good. Can’t see what their issue is.
Correct you allow a precedent and then this will allow the foundation for this to be challenged in court successfully.
I think its blindingly obvious Port have grandiose plans of this becoming their permanent jumper.
What Pies supporters should really appreciate, is that once it happens and you have a change of heart, there will be absolutely nothing you can do about it.
They can wear it again in 50 years when it's their 200th Anniversary.
You forgot the horizontal one on the Port Adelaide guernsey.
This issue will continue on forever unless the AFL come out and issue a definitive, permanent ruling. Either they say “the AFL will Never allow the use of the pylon guernsey whilst there is a another team with the black and white stripes competing in the AFL”, or they say “Port has approval to use the pylon guernsey whenever they want”.
That is the only solution, as Port Power will continue to say We want, we want, we want you big bad VFL, and the team that has worn the B & W stripes since it entered the VFL (which expanded nationally to an AFL competition) will say the B & W stripes are our heritage and nobody else in the competition can imitate them.
AFL needs to step up and make a definitive, dictatorial decision, and end this now.
No, i don't think that is correct. There is a signed document between Port, AFL and Collingwood, that allows port to wear the guernsey in "Heritage" rounds only, and only when they don't play Collingwood.I thought that Port already has approval from the AFL to wear the pylon guernsey whenever they want.... as long as we give consent.
