On the back of its Round 15 loss to the Crows, Port Adelaide will be back with a vengeance when it hosts the Bombers for the first time at Adelaide Oval, under lights, on Saturday night.

LAST TIME WE MET RND 15,2013:
Despite a bag of four goals from former Bomber Angus Monfries, a couple exciting long bombs from Hamish Hartlett and a long bomb goal from defender Bobby Carlile, we fell short to Essendon at Etihad Stadium after a strong start. Goal kicking accuracy really played a part in that loss.

PORT ADELAIDE 4.3 5.4 9.7 12.16 (88)
ESSENDON 3.2 9.5 13.7 18.10 (118)

Best: Brad Ebert, Monfries, Lobbe, Hartlett, R. Gray
Goals: Monfries 4, R. Gray 3, Wingard, Hartlett 2, Trengove

Feeling uncertain about this game. No Noobz0r preview last week and look how it went.

Unhappy with the selections this week. I get we match up ok on Essendon's line up, but it's Choco/Primus like to line up the side in response to the opposition, rather than put the best structured side on the park and force THEM to match up on us. What next? Start Travis Boak in the forward pocket to avoid a tag?

I think we'll win and at for the next 3 games until we get at least of Trengove and Carlile back, I'll take any win.

Apologies for my lack of previews the last 2 weeks. Have been incredibly time poor with the school semester wrapping up! First day of holidays today so it'll be back up and running for the rest of the season!

I look forward to tomorrow night so we can finally get this last week out of the way and get back on the board with a win. We're at home, facing an Essendon team who we should be beating if we think we can do any damage in September.

I made a preview pic

My 1st time to AO. Can't wait. Flew over yesterday and spent the night at mums. Have dinner and drinks tonight with the sis, then have the longest day in history tomorrow waiting for the game. Get to the ground nice and early to get decent seats in the western stand. Hopefully the rain holds out for the game.

Port has been written off by all the AFL's "experts" but I must disagree!

However if Port is going to give the premiership a shake, it has to win every game before the bye.

Essendon, Richmond and Melbourne are all very winnable games and teams like HAwthorn wouldn't drop these games with a few defenders out.
