Will be playing for Collingwood within the next 5 years.Something about Elijah Taylor & his chances of an AFL redemption narrative I just can’t put my finger on…
Retired Adelaide Crows midfielder Bryce Gibbs has opened up on the club’s infamous training camp, declaring it was a “disaster” and suggested it turned the playing group.

“I think the playing group lost a bit of trust with the footy department. Obviously a lot of details we weren’t allowed to know going into the camp, we all had to sign waivers just to say we can’t speak about it after.
How normal is it to have to sign a waiver about going on a pre-season footy camp?
Gets carried off looking like the good guy!Imagine your club is that toxic that Bryce Gibbs walks away looking like the good guy.
Yep, most clubs would just air the dirty laundry, appologise and try to move on as quick as possible but yet the crows are happy for the rumours and stench to remain like a noose around their necks - gotta love the crows. Those waivers are the gift that keeps on giving.
The details will continue to trickle out for decades.
I wonder if the trust they lost in the football department included the director of football?

How the hell did the AFL give this the 'nothing to see here' treatment... oh yeah, Gillon that's why.
How the hell does he still have his job?
If the club had immediately gone "Mea Culpa" over this debacle, they would have been smacked on the wrist, the Adelaide Crow-media and ambassadors would have glossed it over within a few weeks, and they would have salvaged the players, coaches, and what vestige of "team culture" they still had.Yep, most clubs would just air the dirty laundry, appologise and try to move on as quick as possible but yet the crows are happy for the rumours and stench to remain like a noose around their necks - gotta love the crows.

Just when you thought their decision to keep him on the list couldn't get worse.
I mean if it meant he didn't get games and therefore gave more opportunities to kids it would probably be a good thing. But we all know they will play a 50% David Mackay.PLAYERCARDSTART14David Mackay

Essendon has been forced to apologise to its players and backflip on a plan to withhold a portion of their salaries last month, which reportedly left them upset.
In a statement, Bombers CEO Xavier Campbell admitted the club erred in its handling of the situation.
The club sent an email to the players at 8pm on Friday night, telling them nine per cent of their wages for the month would be withheld, before consulting them on the plan.
