Caller says the cows never have any early draft picks ? They were wooden spooners not that long ago!
They've won 26 of their last 81 games.

And they don't cop anywhere near the shit they deserve for winning the ultimate indignity the spoon. They're all 119 lol, but you won a ****in spoon you chumps. Our last spoon was in 1900.

Yep Collingwood v Geelong GF for mine.

I just threw up in my mouth thinking of that.

Why are we such softcocks here? We lost our first game since about march.

We swapped in a third of our team. It was basically a tank.

If butters can get back to some sort of form, and JHF comes back in, we are still in with a chance. You can bet we've circled next week in the fixture and took a bit of a Mulligan today. Wait til next week before writing us off totally.

Will the Adelaide media ever question Nicks and his tenure?

As much as the changes hurt us today, I’m not convinced having any combination of the 6 who went out would have altered the overall result.

We had too many players down.

Having said that, the guys who came in were a collective flop.

Very rare any team wins with that many changes, it can throw things off completely.

The only 4 quarter effort game I can recall is the Melbourne game. The rest were frustrating squeak home wins against shit oppo and 1 quarter demolitions that got us home. Haven't had a settled side all season either but hopefully we right the ship on the injury/soreness/suspension/personal issues soon.

Thats why the bookies moved us from about $1.65 to $1.96 within an hour of the teams being announced.

I don't mind the giants. Best song in the comp and they play with a bit of spirit. Should move them to Tassie so they can have some real fans
Must admit I've gone full El_Scorcho before and sung:

There's a big big sound in the Port of the town
It's the sound of the mighty Pirates

A one quarter demolition is enough. If you can hang in for 3 quarters and piss blast 8 goals in a quarter that's gonna win you 95% of games.

13 wins in a row is a ****ing good effort.

It's only a waste if we make it a waste. We're still in it.

Before 13 in a row, our best AFL effort was 8 in a row three different times.

We need to beat 8 in a row again and go 9 in a row, starting the streak next weekend.

If we wanted to rest Zak for a quarter we should have just gone all out and just rested him like the others and accepted a likely loss. What shits me off is Jackson Mead is running around like a headless chook in the forward line and wasn't even given a chance in the middle when the game was clearly out of reach. Hayes should have played again for Lycett, Jackson should have been given a chance and Wines a rest, Evans in for Rioli, Pasini over Jonas.
I could accept the loss much better if it was a blatant rest/experiment week. But it feels like we kind of just half assed it and couldn't decide what we wanted to do.
