Yep. Another one that Kornes got badly wrong.
Whatever he say...

Giants up to 5th !

Seven in a row. First team in forever to win at 9 different venues in one calendar season. Awesome
Maybe we should have gone after Kingers not Carr. Geez he has had a bit of stress in his first year as coach.

The Rd 22 game against them should be a beauty.

They have only been completely no chance in 1 game. Involved in more close games than Collingwood. Like Collingwood have been winning when trailing at 1/2 and 3/4 time.

They are 5-3 in games with 12 pts or less margin and 8-6 in games where the margin is 19 pts or less.

Collingwood are 5-1 and 7-2.

Good road team the Giants, the plus of playing everywhere from arseh*le to breakfast.

And remember the Crow supporters blaming their poor form on having to play Bulldogs at Ballarat and Suns in NT earlier this year?

Giants showing how to do it - without whingeing.

All they care about is playing solid team footy & take all the travelling in their stride, it probably bonds them closer tbh.

since these 2006 losses they have gone 106-1-17 down there.

Time for us to win a game at Kardina Park. Only done it twice, in 2001 and 2007, and have been close twice - 2003 lost by 1 pt when Ben Graham kicked a 60m goal and the Dixon debacle in 2017 when we lost by 2 pts. Did lose by 10 pts in 2006 and lost it in the last quarter against the breeze. All other games they have basically spanked us. We are 2-13 there .

It's not supposed to be. When we joined in 1997 the AFL was marketed as a national competition. The AFL pretends it is a national competition but they continue to act as if it is just the expanded VFL. The fact that they continue to refer to non-Victorian clubs as "interstate" clubs is a dead giveaway.

Yeah let's not kid ourselves, we should be thankful, remember...
