So many bottle merchants on the park, but the misses by Tom Hickey & Robbie Fox were unforgivable. Hickey’s miss in particular, from 15 metres dead in front, was so horrific that it barely made the distance.
Ruckmen with shocking kicking legs are a dime a dozen.

But what about Heeney? Was a gun in his youth and all Australian last year.

2 set shots that went out on the full from within 35 metres in the first quarter and 2 behinds from the same distance afterwards. Shocking.

At 12 wins + a draw, they might still make it. Comp is even enough that some of the lower teams will keep pinching wins and that could decrease that entry win requirement.
Maybe, but with the extra game this year, you wouldnt want to plan for it.

Ever since Heeney signed his lucrative contract extension he’s been very underwhelming. I know the breeze caused a bit of havoc out there, but gee whiz, you would expect full time footballers to do better then that.

They are less than 50% record since Ross Lyon got to Freo. The you're quiet brilliant Shane final win was 10 years ago.. Essendon havent played there for 30 years and Western Bulldogs havent won there for about 20 years.
And Geelong haven’t been this bad for many years also.
Even GWS beat them there this year.
I can’t see them getting past Adelaide who have a better draw imo.

Heeney is just Gary Rohan with a bit more game sense and a bit poorer goal kicking.

An athletic freak, where everything he does looks a million bucks, but just can't stay in the game against the good sides consistently.

GWS beat them there last time they played there 2 years ago and have won their last 3 there.

Last time Geelong missed the finals was 2015 when they were 11-1-9 with the game after Phil Walsh was murdered got cancelled. They were 6-2 at Kardinia Park that year. They could lose against the 3 sides you said but I wont be tipping against them.

Not sure about that. Wasn't in the game tonight against a side that was pretty ordinary.

And as for goal scoring - he kicked 46 goals last year so he knows where they are. Missing everything from 35m set shots twice in a row in a must-win game is uncharacteristic for him.

Was a huge fan of his developing years but definitely in a deep form slump imho.

At the other end, Nick Blakey just keeps getting better.

Crows will be having conniptions over this news - WA company takes over

Renowned South Australian baked goods manufacturer Balfours — perhaps best known for its distinctive frog cakes — has been sold to an interstate-based firm, 15 years after it last changed hands.

Hey all, I was just getting on the wireless in the car and heard that Adelaide should have been allowed a captains review for a Jordan Dawson free kick at the end of a potential Grand Final to win a flag.

What did I miss?

Flat Trackelaide will be pumping out the goal celebrations today.
Be interesting to see the midfield battle should LDU be up from the opening bounce. Still expect Adelaide to win comfortably however the one strength of North is that young midfield goes can go OK with Goldstein getting HTA's. That game a few weeks back v Essendon was exciting to see.

It'll most likely be over at QT.
