Thursday night games are awesome for every club bar Port.

I hate Thursday night games when Port plays, throws out the whole week.

They are fine as the away side. Unless it’s school holidays or the day before a public holiday they suck for families.
IMO with the ideal 16 teams (goodbye 3 Vic sides) we’d have:
Thursday night game
2 x Friday night (one FTA, one Pay TV)
2 x Saturday afternoon
2 x Saturday night
1 Sunday afternoon

No more bullshit Sunday twilight games. Every side gets minimum 1 Thursday night as home side. The rest to sides that want them (they suit Adelaide IMO with their supporter demographic). If not enough takers assigned 2nd in a season in reverse ladder order. Sunday games suck.
